Just bought a 3BR colonial in Cary, NC. Want to do Vastu corrections — mainly the kitchen is in the northeast (should be southeast), and the master bedroom has a bathroom in the southwest corner. Has anyone done Vastu renovations? How much did it cost and was it worth it?

Before spending $30K+ on renovations, consider consulting a Vastu expert who can suggest remedies WITHOUT structural changes. My pandit suggested placing specific plants, using color corrections, and mirror placements. Cost: $200 consultation. It may not be 100% Vastu-perfect but it's practical.
We did a similar renovation in our Morrisville house. Moved the kitchen from NE to SE — cost about $35K including plumbing, electrical, and new cabinets. The bathroom fix was simpler — just repositioned the door and added a small wall, about $5K. Was it worth it? Honestly, it made my parents happy when they visit, and we do feel better about the energy flow. The kitchen move also made the house layout more functional anyway.
