We've been sending our kids to the BAPS temple Hindi/Gujarati classes in Robbinsville, NJ for 2 years. It's every Sunday, 2 hours, and they've gone from zero to holding basic conversations. The teachers are volunteers but very dedicated. Plus the kids make friends in a cultural setting which helps reinforce the language. Key thing: you HAVE to practice at home too. We started a rule โ dinner conversation is in Gujarati only. The first 2 weeks were painful (lots of "how do you say...") but now it's natural.
Controversial opinion: the best way is immersion. Send them to India for a summer. My kids spent 6 weeks with their grandparents in Ahmedabad and came back speaking fluent Gujarati. No amount of weekend classes can match daily immersion with native speakers who won't switch to English for you.
