You're in for a treat — it's absolutely stunning. Here's what you need to know: **Timing**: Plan at least 2-3 hours. The mandir itself takes 45 min, plus the Haveli (cultural center), gardens, and exhibition. **No tickets needed** — it's free. Open daily 9am-8pm. Weekday mornings are least crowded. **Dress code**: Conservative — no shorts, sleeveless tops, or short skirts. They have wraps available if needed but better to come prepared. **Prasad**: Yes! There's a cafeteria in the Haveli with amazing vegetarian food. Thali for ~$8. Also, small prasad is distributed inside the mandir. **For elderly parents**: There are wheelchairs available. The mandir is fully accessible. Shoe storage is organized and free. **Photography**: Allowed outside, NOT inside the mandir. The exterior carving is incredible — take lots of photos there. **Parking**: Large free parking lot. Go early on weekends.
Pro tip: attend the evening aarti at 7pm. The atmosphere is magical — the lit-up mandir against the evening sky with the aarti singing is unforgettable. Your parents will love it. Also, the gift shop has beautiful items — murti, books, and sweets to bring back.
