Here are the legit ones I know about: 1. **BAPS Holi (multiple locations)** — every BAPS Mandir does Holi celebrations. Robbinsville NJ is massive with 5,000+ people 2. **Hindu Temple Society Flushing, NY** — Ganesh Temple's Holi is authentic with proper puja first 3. **DFW Hindu Temple, TX** — huge outdoor celebration with colors, food stalls, live music 4. **Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, MD** — traditional Holika Dahan night before + colors the next day 5. **Fremont Hindu Temple, CA** — Bay Area's biggest, proper bhang thandai available Avoid anything called 'Festival of Colors' at a fairground — those are commercial events, not Holi.
Check Eventbrite and filter for your city + 'Holi' — many small community organizations run authentic celebrations. Also, WhatsApp groups for your local Indian community usually have the best intel. Ask at your nearest grocery store — they always know about local events.
