Missing the Gujarat garba scene so much. I'm in Texas but willing to travel for a really good multi-day Navratri event. Where are the biggest and most authentic garba celebrations in the US? Bonus if they have live orchestra and traditional raas.

Top garba events in the US: 1. **Atul Purohit garba (NJ/Atlanta/Houston)** — THE biggest. 15,000+ people. Live orchestra. Buy tickets months in advance. 2. **Falguni Pathak concerts** — if she's touring this year, it's unmissable 3. **BAPS Navratri (nationwide)** — traditional, family-friendly, free at most mandirs 4. **Texins Navratri (Dallas)** — Texas's biggest, 5,000+ attendance, live dhol 5. **Atlanta Garba (Gwinnett)** — massive Southeast gathering, 8,000+ people 6. **Edison/Iselin NJ** — literally any venue on Oak Tree Road during Navratri is packed Pro tip: the BEST garba is always at mid-size community events (200-500 people) where everyone actually knows the steps. The mega events are fun but can feel like a concert.
Houston has incredible garba. The Gujarati Samaj of Houston does 9 nights of traditional garba with proper Mataji aarti, stuti, and then raas. Free entry with dinner. It's the closest thing to Vadodara/Ahmedabad I've experienced in the US.
