We have SO many options on Oak Tree Road. Patel Brothers, Subzi Mandi, Apna Bazaar, India Cash & Carry, Fresh India... and like 10 more. Which ones are actually best for what? I feel like I'm wasting time going to 3 stores when one might have everything.

Been shopping Oak Tree Road for 12 years. Here's my ranking by category: **Best overall:** Patel Brothers (widest selection, consistent quality, both locations) **Best for fresh veggies:** Subzi Mandi (karela, turai, valor always fresh, cheaper than PB) **Best for spices/masala:** India Cash & Carry (bulk spices, MDH, Everest — 20% cheaper) **Best for South Indian:** Bhavani Cash & Carry (curry leaves, tamarind, urad dal varieties) **Best for sweets/mithai:** Rajbhog (undisputed — their kaju katli is Diwali-level year round) **Best for quick chaat/snacks:** Chowpatty (inside the strip mall, amazing pani puri) **My one-stop recommendation:** Patel Brothers for 80% of your list, then Subzi Mandi for fresh veggies. Two stops max. Pro tip: Go early Saturday morning (before 10am) for the best produce selection. By Sunday afternoon everything good is picked over.
Don't sleep on Fresh India on Route 27 — they've improved a lot recently. Best prices on atta (5kg bags), oil, and rice. Also the only store I've found that stocks fresh Alphonso mangoes in season (April-May).
